The new band design was developed in collaboration with OUTSENSE Inc., a leader in the field of “origami engineering.” Their insights, gleaned from the art of paper-folding, deliver a band with depth and dimension, and an exceptionally comfortable fit. Precisely analyzed mountain and valley fold angles in the band’s base sections pull outward to the left and right, ensuring the case fits snugly against the wrist on the underside of the band’s wave-shaped base.
Key resin components used in the bezel and band are also made of bio-based resin, a material expected to help reduce environmental impact.
